B-Squared was a special event series held every 2nd Thursday from 5-9 pm in Downtown Bridgeport featuring local art, culture, music, good eats, special events and community gatherings!

DECEMBER 2012: B-Merry! holiday mARkeT

A holiday marketplace in the Arcade Mall for a day of local shopping, hot cocoa sipping, caroler listening, winter kids activities and other festive programming.





OCTOBER 2012: Oh the Horror! Zombieland in Bridgeport

A zombie crawl around downtown with special programming happening on McLevy Green including face-painting, zombie dance troupes, haunted graveyard, haunted historical tour, and after 9 programming with ghastly restaurant specials.


SEPTEMBER 2012: I’m a Bridgeporter!

A celebration of all things Bridgeport with a Bridgeport themed scavenger hunt, craft activities, info fair, DJ dance party, “Touch a Truck”, film screening, and more!

August 2012: Move! Bodies in Motion

All about celebrating summer, life, and movement. We were at McLevy Green and in the Historic Arcade Mall with fashion shows, makeup giveaways, dance troupes, dj’s, CT Fashion Week, yoga and zumba demonstrations, plus the art cart and other cultural activities.

July 2012: A Circus Among Us!

Our kick-off event and tribute to Bridgeport’s history! Event featured hoop dancers, City Light’s PT Barnum’s Birthday celebration, CT Free Shakespeare roaming minstrels, dance performance, CT Roller Derby Girls, World Artist Network, Face-painting, BULB light parade, and activities for the whole family.
